Rice: 2 cups; Water: 3 cups; Makes (Cups cooked): 6 cups; Servings (3/4 cup cooked): 8. Rice: 3 cups; Water: 4-1/2 cups; Makes (Cups cooked): 9 cups; Servings (3/4 cup cooked): 12). 2. Stir in rice (Add 1 tbsp. butter and 1 tsp. salt per cup of uncooked rice, if desired). 3. Cover. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes or until all water is absorbed.
